Visiting London

Hello Everyone

Its very quiet out there in Cyberspece at the moment. We have done some work in London to arrange the visit starting out on the 16th March next year. The hotel we have found is called the Clarendon in Blackheath. Blackeath is a very desirable place in South East London. Near to the centre of London and our school We have negotiated some advance rates: £35 a head sharing a room £50 per single. These prices include Breakfast.

Take a look at the website and get back to me. Are you still aiming to bring over the number of students you were talking about? How does the hotel look? these are very good prices for London.

On other matters - I guess you have all been busy since our wonderful meeting in Greece! We are looking forward very much to having you all in London and taking the project forward further.

Regards

Dave

  3. Update on Progress in England - communication with our partners

Melissa and Colleagues have set up the following:

    Dates will be as follows:

Tues Jan 12th- this will be a visit to the National Maritime Museum for the students to get inspiration for the project. If possible, we would like the students to arrive at 12.30, and they will be free to go at 3pm.

Tues Jan 19th- all of these sessions will take place at the college.
    Tues Jan 26th
    Tues Feb 2nd
    Tues Feb 9th

We are also really pleased that you will be able to take part in the performance on Wednesday 31st March at the Laban theatre. Our project leader is now no longer available on 30th March, and therefore I was wondering if the students might be available for an after school session on Monday 22nd March instead?

On Wednesday 31st March, it is likely that the students will need to be at the Laban theatre at around 3pm, but this will be confirmed nearer the time.

It would be very helpful if you could let us have an indication of the needs of the young people in order for our project leader, Jason Rowland to design a suitable project. He has asked for a list of their individual requirements so he can support them throughout.
